but eventually got one that worked. It works fairly well. Amazon, Netflix, YouTube are all easy to use. The Chromecast connection is very useful, so that both Google and Sony can use you as a data collection tool to help them make even more money is a bad thing.This thing has already stolen hours of my life. Why oh why is there a HOME button that takes you to a home page with APPS, You can find info by Consumer Reports in an online piece titled “How to Turn Off Smart TV Snooping Features. the bolts and nuts we’re not included in the package as shown on packing list. Had to go to hardware store and “jerryrig” in order to attach the legs.many of the voice commands and convenience features are not Sony specific but they all work very well.We will consider getting a flat sound bar in the future. A great televison with lots of options to customize. the tv’s wifi connection will drop out every now and then and I’ll have to turn it off and back on under network settings for it to resume.
The tv came well packaged but the screen is broken internally. Ive always used Sony but now I’m wondering how delicate the screen and how long it could last. Very disappointed. I have no complains and cannot be more satisfied. If my place was more elegantly decorated, I could have went for one of the more premium models.tv is LED lit which gets rid of the “black glow” effect of the old tv. blacks are really black.I was fortunate enough to purchase this Sony TV off the Amazon Treasure Truck! And let me tell you the picture quality of this set is so spectacular, I feel like I’ve stolen something for what I paid.ou see a line of light and a circle of light at the ends. This TV NO.1. NO. 2 is not much better. Even with this defect, this is the best Television in this price range Amazon has. I would not buy a TV from any body else..i seen the tv has gone up $50.00 so the timing was great for me for home viewing.the imput jacks were located in a better spot and much lighter.hope i can get 9 yrs like my other one.
The menu is a headache to navigate just to obtain a semi decent picture.Pure garbage Vizio and lg 4ks have way better picture for way less.Youll only get a good Sony by spending 2 gz. My only complaint is that there’s a bit of lag on the smart features at times and there’s no support for new apps. It has pre-loaded apps like Hulu and Netflix and quite a few others.This TV can’t get anything right, the Netflix and Hulu apps are terrible and if you don’t have Tv service it will constantly ask you so set it up.
Sales guy said at my local store said Sony was the best. It’s is! Might need to replace my living room TV now with the 75. I am extremely happy. No problems of any kind including viewing at an angle. our provider and after 30 minutes following usual troubleshooting steps voiced by a technician (India)…no fix. He then arranged a physical visit by local technician.this set comes with apps I subscribe to but is impossible other apps to. I re-watched a few recorded basketball games and a few avengers movies and was super impressed with the stunning picture, colors, and especially the motion.
