let’s talk about the one thing most people care about: Picture quality. Contrast is great for a non-OLED TV; it’s not anything mind-blowing, but if you’re upgrading from an older TV or monitor, the blacks will blow you away.which if you haven’t seen in person before, makes 60 FPS look like 30 FPS. If you play a lot of shooters or any game that requires fast reflexes, you will fall in love with this TV. Most TVs nowadays can do this, but this particular SAMSUNG is the ONLY TV in existence right now that can do so while still keeping input lag low. ike Amazon Music, which I can now stream easily from the TV through my Samsung sound bar. If you are looking to upgrade your TV, This TV has a lot of smart features that are really useful. I comment Samsung for a great product and Amazon for great service.
Then within an hour it began showing green/white/black ‘snow’ across the entire TV, and then it shut off. I left it sit for 15 min, it booted up again, but showed a black 6 inch vertical band on the middle L third of the screen.make sure if using the stand you look at the quickset up guide and install the shorter screws in the back of the tv and the longer ones in the base of the stand,Samsung makes a great curved TV. Purchased open box at a better price with full guarantee. Delivered to my door with no extra charge by Fed-X.The TV is capable of deep blacks, bright colors and lots of control in the expert picture settings. The voice remote is also fairly handy once you get used to it.this model is a pretty darn good 4K TV with bright colors and sharp resolution. The bonus is the 40 watts of audio power with pretty good bass response that makes an expensive soundbar a non-essential add on.
This one you get advertising when you hit the home button. Rent this, rent that, no more easy to get to saved stations. You can use the voice control but you have to allow Samsung to collect information about you. so I crank up the bias lighting during the day and don’t notice it. The curved screen makes it easer to see what’s going on at the edges, and completely eliminates glare.the menus and apps Samsung put into it that you can’t get rid of, not to mention at times settings will cancel each other out with no notification, turning on one setting to optimize refresh rate will turn of hdr10+.and I can still see the picture just fine! I bought a wall mount to swivel left, right, up or down. if you are used to a sound bar (one of good quality) it obviously won’t be as good, but the sound is clear and clean. I recommend The 55″ Samsung 8 series to anyone looking for a fantastic picture with great streaming options, clean, clear sound and sleek shape.Seemed like a great TV but wifi keeps telling me its disconnected. Made several attempts to figure it out. Made sure it wasn’t my modem or internet. Used hulu on my 55 8 series and 50 7 series.
