Spent another 15 mins mounting the thing on the wall to find out the TV they sent me was a dud. Did some quick searching online for a solution, and looks like this is a very common problem with this type of Samsung TVs . Finally have to be booked with a service appointment, but there is no availability for 2 weeks. Also received an unwelcome sales pitch on the value of purchasing a warranty package. I just want the DirecTV satellite it’s connected to via HDMI, my computer connected via HDMI, and my DLNA NAS server.so this was a big splurge for us, even though it’s far less pricey than other comparable televisions. Very happy with this purchase. so I don’t watch it that often, but when I decide to watch something in bed it’s more than adequate. The sound is fine, but if you’re planning on using it for anything more than a bedroom you’ll likely want a sound bar or other external speaker. I think the “Dynamic” TV mode helps in this regard as well. No cons with the picture except it’s not OLED, but that’s obviously a different category,These are the apps that are pre-loaded. You can’t delete them, Samsung won’t let you. They will let you hide them, but they still sit there taking up space and collecting metrics.
In order to do that you have to have an 802.11ac compatible network adapter to have enough bandwidth to prevent stuttering.Tiny red LED light on underside (next to power button) when TV is off. (Last TV had a big red light facing forward,if the included spacers are required for non-versa mounting systems. 1.) Yes, the included spacers are requires regardless of mounting system, thought I was getting a 120hz tv, not some made up 120 motion rate. False / deceptive advertising. When beginning the search for a new TV, we felt a 50″ model would be a perfect fit. Basically, if you want to ensure you getting the best picture for each of your devices, you have to tweak your settings, every single time you switch sources. The menus are simple and easy to understand, with plenty of options for absolutely everything. This TV can be remotely operated from anywhere in the world you may be with the Samsung SmartThings App. It has all the apps you can hope for like Netflix and Prime Video. I personally like to set the picture to Dynamic setting with makes the blacks deeper and whites more intense for an amazingly rich picture contrast. The size alone really caught me by surprise. I didn’t think it would be much improvement 43 great picture.
he volume is great and goes really high on regular programming. I haven’t tried Netflix or Prime yet so I’ll see how the sound works with that later. Why Samsung decided to completely alienate customers with it and a raft of other unremovable bloat is beyond me. Seriously, I was ready to box it up and send it back. The clarity of 4K UHD is very noticeable. Even regular HD over cable looks good. That reminds me that I need to setup an external antenna to check out OTA broadcasts. TV looks fantastic wall mounted. Edge lit LED panel with super clean image.has to be completely done over. I’m going to have to move the wall mount 6″ toward the ceiling, Drywall patch, and drill a new hole .waiting on a call from the Tech to find out when exactly my appointment is because when Samsung scheduled it they could only do broad times such as the morning or the evening. this has been happening for about a week now as well as no smart tv features working. I would not suggest purchasing this tv unless I was given a faulty unit.which does not foist any ads .it was just as vibrant and beautiful.
