I thought I was playing at 1440p or rather my monitors native resolution. For reference I’m running a GTX 1080 graphics card. Additionally, if you’re playing Rocket League on the Switch its going to look and run subpar compared to the more powerful consoles and systems.I believe 15ms response time which is fast for a VA panel TV. The motion looks excellent on the Samsung RU7100 compared to my friends flickering Vizio TV.Over the last few weeks this television has become more and more enjoyable as I discover new features and test the panels capabilities over different devices.the Smart OneRemote remote that is specified for this TV and all of the RU7100 TV’s is not the remote provided. What is provided is their standard Universal Remote. The tv will determine what you have plugged in to the HDMI port. In my case it was my DirecTv receiver and it programmed my remote for me.It cannot be programmed to act as a universal remote (even though the confusing set-up procedures imply that it can) so I have to have 3 remotes at all times.
By Thursday the TV could no longer connect to wifi, now I’m stuck hardwiring. that was a far more expensive television that has full array, but it is damn good. Great value, great TV.if you think this is an isolated incident then I encourage you to search “Samsung WiFi not working” and see how many people have the same issue. I messed up, no reason you should too. if I can get it serviced or if I have to send it back. Either way, I am incredibly disappointed. It did in fact turn on, I was able to navigate the GUI, but it was entirely disconnected from the internet and wasn’t picking up my WiFi networks even though my router was directly next to it,This is a widely spread and known issue that I only became aware of after doing some research for a solution – to which there is none.
I have no complaints. It has a beautiful picture with lots of features plus it was easy to set up from un-boxing to getting started with TV time.Everything looks like a commercial or like it was shot on a 1990s Handycam. Why do people like this? I’m tell myself I’ll get over it. I almost returned the TV because it was so difficult to use but I thought I will just get used go it. I have to admit this is my first “smart” TV and maybe that is just the way it is.Spiderman swinging under bridge in infinity war breaks up .not clear . Just spiderman. Rest of pic is ok. Spidey is in movement. The picture didnt come apart on spiderman. How? How is this possible? How can they sell me a product that cant give my an image…as I needed speed because I wanted to go with “streaming” tv services such as Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. The side viewing is the only thing I am disappointed with. For my personal taste I keep the Picture Mode in Dynamic
