This one is enjoyable no matter what you’re watching. I have a home audio system, but the speakers on this TV impressed me- I expected nothing short of tinny, underwhelming nose and was actually met with some rich mid-bass and crisp mid-highs.and they seem to be getting better all the time. This TV’s technology is two years old and it is why I’m pay such a low price for the TV, it suits me fine. Once i had that set up the tv worked great the picture is bright and clear high res games look fantastic, probably not as good as qled or oled but for under 500 bucks im happy. The only other thing that i do not like about this product is the remote. This might be because I’m streaming through WiFi, will have to test with other input sources later.
when I turn on the set is a banner at the bottom of the screen that gives access to Netflix, Amazon prime, etc., and it disappears in a few seconds, or you can click “Exit” on the tv remote.I have no idea what they are being paid to broadcast this awful stuff, but they should just sell the TV, not force buyers to put up with absolutely garbage. The picture quality is very good. I have bought many Samsung tvs over the years and this 43 inch has vibrant, rich colors. I don’t have testing equipment, but the 4k engine does improve picture quality of all inputs in use Getting the two to mesh between streaming and live TV is a challenge.
Found out that the TV only supports specific refresh rates at specific resolutions. Doing more testing may require a graphics card better than GTX 970 .I am using a Fire TV stick with this TV and it’s working wonderfully with all of the apps from the smart TV and from FIRE TV stick. The WiFi is where this TV becomes junk. The software is so bad that I have to reset either the router or the TV COMPLETELY to get any connectivity. I have to do this, on average, once a day. I had the TV for about 3 weeks now and the wireless card seems to be about to die.TV’s with better picture and nice bonus features, I’m very disappointed in the NU6900. Yes, the price is right when it’s on sale, but this is a mediocre 4K TV and people need to know what they’re buying.
This tv has a fantastic picture right out of the box. I tried the calibration that many review sites have said was the way to go. I either was not doing it right or the clowns that come up with these settings must have super altra eye sight, or are just plain nuts. All it did was to make the picture dull and with no definition at all. This TV really shined when I put it in Dynamic mode and turn down some of the backlit processes as well as some of the contrast enhancement and once I did that oh my God the picture was amazing.
