I put on a few high bit rate 4K Demo Files (580MB for 90 seconds of video) and played them back through an Nvidia Shield TV and I could see much better blending and motion handling and even the colors looked better. It’s ability to upscale 1080P was better than my C7 and was very impressive.I believe these are pretty important things as we are all looking for these features when buying a new TV. I am also impressed by the aesthetics, i.e.This is by far the best TV I have ever owned. Previously my 2016 LG OLED was the best, but this one has an even better OLED screen and a far superior user interface. Needless to say I am BLOWN away by this amazing OLED TV
My advice: set the HDMI and Netflix Picture Mode to isf Expert (Bright Room). Keep most of the defaults but set all the Expert Controls and Picture Controls to OFF. But I didn’t fully realize how bad it will be until it happens. Now I know how bad it is, and want to let potential buyers know that it will be a really serious problem, failing your investment on TV.
